Ulduar is fun

After recently changing our focus more towards Ulduar, I'm glad to say we have been progressing nicely and have been raiding well.
Tonight we can say that Iron Council and Thorim are on farm status.
Freya and Hodir are still troublesome but becoming easier each time.
Mimiron and General Vezaxx are our next real targets then the big bad Yogg-Saron.

We are doing great lets keep it going :D

Angels of Fire one shotted the Northrend Beasts

Last night (twenty-six of August) Angels went for a second time to the Trial of Crusader. We approached the Northrend Beasts with a little worry, last time we only got the first one down. But our worries were not founded as we rolled through all three bosses only losing two members during the last part. The Northrend Beast got to see themselves defeated by the Angels.

We all thought that the second boss, Lord Jaraxxus, would be as easy as the first boss, but we were mistaken. We had to adjust our tactics for three tries, but on the fourth he went down. A tip for all you out there who are struggling with this boss, tank him toward a wall, then there is a chance that the volcano will appear too close to the wall and no infernals will be summoned.

Next came the arena fight, too bad that all of us is PVE players and had no clue of how to do PVP. We tried four times but we were not even close in defeating them. This fight will be hard for our guild as we have so little PVP experience.

Catlady is now on farm and Iron council almost there too.

Freya down on fourth try after a somewhat troublesome first phase. Once that got sorted second phase was a breeze.

Two tries on Thorim before it got to late.

Many other guilds has done it before Angels of Fire, but this last Saturday (fiftheen of August) a fantastic team of raiders went into Naxxarmas 10 and cleared the whole place in one evening. The whole run took less than four hours, and was lead by our upcoming raid leader Stillwater.

Big congratulations to the Angels that went on that run, we are proud over you.

Angels of Fires first try at the Northrend Beasts

Yesterday (fourteenth of August) Angels of Fire took a peek inside the new raid Trial of Crusader ten man version. We thought that we were prepared, but we were not. On our fourth try we got the tactics for Gormok and killed him easily, but wiped hard at the two Jormungars. We got one more try at the second phase (Jormungars), but did not have the time for more tries this night.

Next time we try they will go down.

Angels of Fires first own Naxx 25 raid happened last Friday

Last Friday (seventh of August) the Angels went into Naxx 25 for the first time with only people from our own guild. We have been there before but then working together with The Creators. But now when the summer is over we are finally going there ourselves.

The run went well; we cleared Plague without any problems and went then to Construct and Patchwork. There we were a bit slow with the ready check and therefore tried to pull with a pet. That failed miserably as Patchwork is not taunteble and the tanks did not get hold of him before to many of the melee died. Second try went perfectly and even the melee managed to stay alive. The raid plowed through to Thaddius, but here had to stop. At this time we were only 20 in the raid and did not have enough dps to down him.

The coming Friday (fourteenth of August) we will use a new feature of patch 3.2 and extend the lockout so that we can continue clearing Naxx 25, which us good luck.

Iron Council down

Last Sunday (second of August) the Angels killed the Iron Council for the first time!
It took some tries to work out the tactic, but then they went down all three.

We also killed Cat lady again, she is almost on farm. Our next target is Freya and the other watchers.

Ignis down, and the Cat lady (Auriaya). Razorscale and Kologarn on farm status

Last Friday we killed both Ignis and he the Cat lady (Auriaya) for the first time, and got Razorscale and Kologarn on farm status, good work Angels.

What’s more, we did the Cat Lady with a tactic that is not on the internet (so far as we now). What we did was that we pulled her into the Hall of Memories and killed her there. That way we had an easy way to be out of sight during the pull, and then we moved her up and down the stairs to handle the line of sight issue with the other cat.

In the recent weeks Angels of Fire has had success in Ulduar. We now have Flame Leviathan and XT-002 Deconstructor on farm. Both Kologarn and Razorscale is very close to be farm status, soon we will down them on the first try.

Our next goal is Auriaya and Ignis the Furnace Master, they will soon be down.

Listen up fellow Angels!!!

I don't wanna see any GRUNTS puging Naxx 10, Naxx 25. Ulduar 10, Ulduar 25.!!! - If you do, You will be kicked from the guild on the spot!! - You're on trial and it's us you need to impress and it's our raidleaders and GM that's gonna inspect your performance and skill - not a simple pug!!!
I want EVERYONE attending the raid to show up with BUFF FOOD and POTS/FLASK to make us STRONGER. I know you want to raid. So show me that you can put effort into making not only your self but the guild stronger by showing up PREPAIRED. I don't want to see anyone without this, or you will be removed from the raid. We're not a guild that feeds ppl with easy epics. If you want epics we all have to put in some work and as a TEAM we get nice upgrades.
